September 11th, 2001 will be remembered as a day of infamy.

The callous attack on the World Trade Center in New York, and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., by cowardly terrorists has transformed our global village to a greater extent than the tearing down of the Iron Curtain (and all the positive that resulted). We have been drawn into a lifestyle of fear and anger. Those responsible will be brought to justice... NO, they will be eliminated !

Our condolences to all those who have lost loved ones in this horrific act of terrorist insanity. Our hearts are with you. Our thoughts and prayers continue for those still Missing In Action.

For this IS an act of war on the part of an enemy that favours guerrilla tactics and cowardly acts of terror against innocent civilians. An enemy who kills and runs to hide like the cowards that they are.

This is NOT an act of war on the part of fellow citizens of differing religious faiths and nationalities. The majority of them are law abiding. They moved here to benefit from our collective freedom... and to participate in its promotion world wide. We must not let our anger lead us to blind reactions against the innocent.

It is indeed a black day for global peace.
For a while there we did seem to be heading in the right direction... towards a truly peaceful global village, didn't we ?

How could this happen ?
Where lies the blame ?
Who was lax in their security measures ?
Is US past actions at fault ?
Are Islamic extremists responsible ?
Is the Islamic religion two-faced ?... worship Allah... but kill your enemies ?
Does the Islamic religion preach intolerance of other religions ?
Does the Islamic way of life promote activists and terrorists ?
Are Muslim and/or Arabs peoples two-faced ?
As Canada's refugee system been compromised by bleeding heart politics ?
Is it too easy for immigrants to obtain citizenship privileges ?
Is it too easy for refugees to abuse Canadian laws ?
Are Palestinians that senseless that they cheer the death of others ?
Are North Americans more loathsome than Middle-East citizens for reacting in anger ?

These and many, many other questions remain very much in the minds of average citizens ?
