Is your organization, company, in the red ?
Are you looking for a long-term solution ?
After many years of research, including a wide variety of hands-on work expreriences, in 2002 I developed a triple-win solution to organizational survival. I say triple-win because since the 1990s the majority of institutions have evolved into a short-term gain mindset... and damn the consequences. That has been quite a paradigm shift from the socially responsible stakeholder mindset as defined by short-term pain for long-term gain. Such a negative mindset is not a true reflection on investors' intent, but rather indicates a managment trend towards selfish aggrandizement and profit for "me, myself and I".
Our triple-win concept is summarized by our organizational efficiency formula, which can be stated as... OE = [W3+OR]*ST
OE > Organizational Efficiency To bring about a more successful endeavour using the least amount of resources and operating at a faster pace, in an energy saving operation and environmentally friendly manner.
W3 > Triple-Win To promote the need for winners at all levels of stakeholders that naturally leads to more committed partnerships, an expanding trend of the 21st century's Global Village. Winners of current globalization activities already include enterprises, whether private companies or SOEs, but pressure is increasingly coming from employees and society for a more equitable sharing of the fruits of success by all stakeholders, from investors to management to employees and on to suppliers and especially to consumers/clients.
OR > Organizational Restructuring To ensure an efficient operation through effective work flows that use not only the least amount of resources and respond quickly to market demands, but also empower employees to contribute through "out of the box" suggestions for improvements. Operational guidelines flow down from management, but innovation flows up from the grass roots of an organization. As such, restructuring should include venues for multi-level groupings that promote equal opportunities for review of operational and managerial processes.
ST > Strategic Training To keep employees up to date on new knowledge and work techniques related to their tasks, and also empower them through the synergies of multi-disciplinary knowledge. The objective is to provide targeted training to specific elements of the organization depending on the organization's purpose and market area as well as the specific HR resources most likely to produce sustainable results from such training. A simultaneous objective, albeit of a secondary priority, is to provide HR resources with an ongoing venue for improving their value to the organization and to themselves, thereby increasing their loyalty and dedication to the organization.
